Bridgestone takes over Topy wheels distribution Australia-wide

Bridgestone Earthmover Tyres has been appointed the exclusive Australian and regional distributor for Topy wheels and rims for mining and construction equipment, effective May 1, 2009. Topy Industries’ range of OTR (off-the-road) wheels and rims includes a full line of wheel products and services for mining, construction and materials handling applications. According to Michael Ryan, Bridgestone Earthmover Tyres' Executive Manager – Diversified Products, Topy is the world's only steel producer that manufactures wheels and rims, applying specific material specifications to individual wheel components in order to maximise safety, strength and durability. "This assures Topy wheel users that these products are manufactured and tested to the highest standards of quality and safety." he said. Bridgestone Earthmover Tyres has been the Topy distributor for eastern Australia for more than 20 years, and has now expanded its distributorship to cover the whole country.
